If you travel regularly, sharing your home while you're away is surprisingly disjointed.
WhatsApp groups. Instagram stories. Messages passed between friends of friends. Too informal to feel secure, too fragmented to rely on, and often dependent on the right person seeing the right post at exactly the right moment.
At the same time, staying away for more than a week is expensive. Hotels don't make sense and short-stay platforms are often priced for weekends, not weeks, while offering little confidence about who's staying in your home when you're not there.
